Relocated To Denver Colorado For A New Job Opportunity

I was talking to a friend of mine one day and he was telling me that his company was hiring. He knew I was looking for a different job and had been on the lookout for me. He said this job was a really good one, but I would need to relocate to Denver, Colorado if I wanted to take it. He said he could help me get the job if I was interested and told me where I could get more information about it.

I went online and looked at the job posting so I could learn more about it and see if I was interested in pursuing it. The thought of moving really didn’t bother me, but I wanted to make sure that it was a good job that paid well enough for me to make that big step and move. After learning about the job and what it paid, I decided to apply for it. I knew it couldn’t hurt and if I got the job, it would be a great career move. I let my friend know I applied for the job so he could help me get it. He said that he would be in contact with his boss that day and would let him know.

Later that day I received a phone call to set up an interview for that job. It was my friend’s boss and he let me know when I could interview and the times available. I took the first open interview and couldn’t wait to see if I would get the job.

After I had my interview, I was offered the job. I immediately accepted and was given a start date which was a few weeks later. This would give me enough time to get moved and settled in before starting the job. I searched online to find an apartment for rent and was able to easily get that taken care of all online. I spoke with my landlord at the time and let them know my situation and that I would need to break my lease. My landlord was understanding and didn’t act like it was a big deal. He didn’t charge me for breaking the lease either.

I got moved in and started my job within just a few weeks. I am so glad I made the move to Denver Colorado because it was a great choice.
